- Mediocre loaf of sourdough. I’ve been using all purpose flour and have been getting lazy with technique lately, so the results are about what I should be expecting. No surprises either way.
- Cut first two sheets of plywood for the bed I’m building. I’m really unhappy with my level of precision in making these cuts with a circular saw (even with my wonderful wonderful kreg rip-cut jig.) The table saw won’t work (and, if you’ve ever tried to fit 4′x8′ sheets of plywood into a low-end consumer grade tablesaw, you’ll know why.) I’ve biased large for the first two sheets, so the results are still within acceptable tolerances. But I’ve got to start doing something different for the next two pieces, which contain the smaller parts. I’ll have to see what I can come up with.
- Chicken Korma with sauce from a jar. Ate over rice. Profoundly mediocre.
