What do you suppose the aggregate cost of 1 day in session of Congress costs.
I’m thinking:
Salaries for all officials and their attending aids and other hangers on.
Security
Catering services
Building management
Add to that:
The cost of news coverage dedicated to Capitol Hill, C-SPAN, etc.
One day. Any guesses? How many millions?
Regrettably whatever the number is will now seem a pittance when contrasted against the drunken sailor behavior of those fuckers for the last 10-12 years.

I don’t seem to be able to get through to Beck but I’ll bet if you sent him that question, you’d get feedback. I have often wondered that myself while they’re debating over a turtle tunnel in California. Don’t worry though, our annointed one will now put all earmarks on a websight for us to see. That way he won’t have to take the blame for vetoing them and make the senators angry. He can blame us. Meanwhile, the terrorists are ON THEIR WAY! It’s sickening–
