Because of the size of this blog, I get an awful lot of google search hits here for this cigar, even though I’ve moved this post (and others on the same topic) over to my cigar blog, Cigar Noob.

    What’s funny is that the Scotch I drink totally trounce the flavor from any cigar I’ve had.

    I tried pairing a cigar (the Corojo from the other day) with my Ardbeg and after one sip the cigar felt like inhaling warm air.

    I would (for want of a better plan) put them in the box for a couple of weeks to see if that really makes a meaningful difference. At any rate you will be able to compare the two events and be edified. I bet you could improve the burn (a little) with a proper blue flame cigar lighter. This may sound stupid, but I think I got a similar result on a Gispert by eating a salty snack before smoking.
