Is it still a rut if it’s good?
Wednesday, July 8th, 2009Ok, so it’s not long enough to be a rut.
Yesterday I had about 7 substantial blog posts between here and The Vortigaunt Shuffle. Readership went nuts for the day. I remember the palpable feeling that there was just no end to it but that the ends of my fingers were sore from banging on the keyboard. (I’m a bit ham fisted with these things.)
It felt really good. Consistently I would hit a stride about 2/3 of the way through a post. But I stopped myself most of the time because I was getting a bit too winded for the form. The right thing to do instead I suppose is to just let it rip then edit down into either individual posts or subsections somehow.
Dunno, there was a glimmer of something yesterday that I’ve been looking for for quite some time.
