gettin’ that itch again
No not THAT itch (truth be told I’ve never had THAT itch, phew.)
Anyone but me pathologically hate the font on this site? It’s just too…wiry for me. Plus there’s nothing in the template but standard “this is my first blog” goofiness. You’d never know I’d been doing this for *gasp* 7? Can it be 7 years?

My favorite fonts are Tahoma and Arial. It speaks volumes that I even have a favorite font, at least to my hanging-on-by-a-thread geek-cred.
I think you need a blue template, icy and robot. Dunno why.

Well the first blog (the skeleton of which is still up, but all the content’s been pulled into here) is over here: UCCU. If I wasn’t so sick of looking at it from back then, and it didn’t evoke my pathological hatred of Radio Userland, I’d just port the whole damn thing over.

As for favorite fonts… I dunno. As a programmer, Lucida hits me just right but it hurts most peoples’ eyes. (Fixed width and all.)
There are so few I can identify by name. Instead I have nebulous ideas like “whatever the hell penguin books publishes in sucks” which is neither constructive nor helpful.

I like that “comic” font, but it somehow seems to take the bite out of an otherwise fine, spittle-flecked rant.
And, yeah… seven years is believable.
I’m right behind ya with 6, coming up in July…
