		<description>Nothing wrong with that at all.  I had a rule for a while "don't do anything that's not on the list" (for weak values of "anything" as that could be a DAMN strange list) and I used to do that frequently.

When something needs doing and it gets done, take credit for it.</description>

		<description>confession: sometimes after I do a small task (take out the garbage, for example), I put it on my current to-do list so I can have the small joy of crossing it off. 
Luckily all my tasks are small and ignorable, so I am not a big cog in the machinery.  I'd fear for the engine if I were.</description>
